I’ve been saying for years that one day I will publish a cook book. It will be called “Combine All Ingredients”. That’s the way I cook. And I never sift the flour, cream the butter and sugar, separate anything or make any wells. Nobody’s complained yet.
Made it through winter! Well done…. its reward time
I don’t mind winter really but I have to say I’m soooo glad it’s nearly over and spring is just a few more cold mornings away, dragging the kids out of bed in the cold, standing frozen to watch netball and footy games and training each week, the endless supply of socks, hats, gloves and jackets, just about over soup, bring on the salads, open the windows, let the sun shine in. Yeah we made it.

Every family has certain rules about what is accepted when it comes to the spoken word especially where our kids are concerned. There are the obvious ones like no swearing, no calling each other names and no yelling at the goldfish (my son thinks they’re deaf because they won’t do as they’re told). But, my boys set a rule for me too recently….
